Environment Pollution Paragraph with Bangla Translation
The most important thing for human civilization to survive on earth is to keep our environment habitable. But the sad thing is that we are polluting this environment day by day. Our planet is becoming uninhabitable due to environmental pollution. If this continues, human civilization will be destroyed. We are currently facing many types of environmental pollution. The two main pollutions are air and water pollution. Besides, noise pollution and soil pollution are also having adverse effects on human life. There are many causes of environmental pollution, one of which is chemical waste from factories. Just as toxic fumes from factories pollute the air, so do various toxic chemicals that contaminate river water.

Due to environmental pollution, the earth’s temperature is rising day by day, causing the ice of Antarctica to melt and various harmful gases are spreading all over the world which is bringing our earth closer to destruction. Animal life is being threatened and many plants are dying.
Another major cause of environmental pollution is plastic products such as soft drink bottles, polythene, etc. Sewage drains are getting stuck in our country due to the dumping of plastic bottles and polythene. Moreover, soil fertility is declining due to the mixing of polythene with soil. Currently, high-rise buildings and factories are being built by filling rivers and canals, which is upsetting the balance of the environment.
Cutting down trees is one of the causes of environmental pollution. As a result of cutting down more trees, the level of oxygen is decreasing and the amount of carbon dioxide is increasing. So, to keep the earth habitable and beautiful, instead of cutting down trees, we should plant more trees.
In order to make public awareness about planting trees, it is often observed that a tree-planting program is celebrated once a year. This is a very good initiative, but planting trees one day a year is not enough. Rather each of us should plant trees whenever the opportunity arises. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to protect our environment from pollution.
We need to make sure that our daily wastes are not dumped in rivers or seas. I think the government of our country has to take steps in this regard. At the same time, we need to be more aware of protecting the environment. We must remember the saying,
Plans to protect air and water, wilderness, and wildlife are in fact plans to protect man.

মানব সভ্যতা পৃথিবীতে টিকে থাকার জন্য সবচেয়ে বেশী জরুরি হচ্ছে আমাদের পরিবেশকে বসবাস উপযোগী রাখা। কিন্তু অত্যন্ত দুঃখের বিষয় হচ্ছে এই পরিবেশকে আমরা দিন দিন দূষিত করে তুলছি। পরিবেশ দূষণের কারনে আমাদের পৃথিবী প্রাণী বসবাসের অযোগ্য হয়ে উঠছে। এটা যদি এভাবেই চলতে থাকে তাহলে মানব সভ্যতা ধ্বংসের মুখে পড়বে। বর্তমানে আমরা অনেক ধরনের পরিবেশ দূষণের সম্মুখীন। তাদের মধ্যে প্রধান দু’টি দূষণ হচ্ছে, বায়ু ও পানি দূষণ। এছাড়া শব্দ দূষণ ও মাটি দূষণের ফলেও মানব জীবনে বিরূপ প্রভাব পড়ছে। পরিবেশ দূষণের অনেক কারন রয়েছে, তাদের মধ্যে অন্যতম প্রধান হচ্ছে কারখানা থেকে নির্গত রাসায়নিক বর্জ্য। কারখানা থেকে নির্গত বিষাক্ত ধুঁয়া যেমনিভাবে বাতাসে মিশে বায়ু দূষণ করছে, তেমনিভাবে বিভিন্ন বিষাক্ত ক্যামিক্যাল পানির সাথে মিশে নদীর পানিকে দূষিত করছে।
পরিবেশ দূষণের কারনে দিন দিন পৃথিবীর তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে, যার ফলে অ্যান্টার্কটিকার বরফ গলে যাচ্ছে এবং বিভিন্ন ক্ষতিকারক গ্যাসগুলো পুরো পৃথিবীতে ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে যা আমাদের পৃথিবীকে ধ্বংসের কাছাকাছি নিয়ে যাচ্ছে। প্রাণী জীবন হুমকির সম্মুখীন হচ্ছে সেই সাথে মারা যাচ্ছে অসংখ্য গাছপালা।
পরিবেশ দূষণের আরেকটি বড় কারন হচ্ছে প্লাস্টিক জাতীয় পণ্য যেমন কোমল পানীয় -এর বোতল, পলিথিন ইত্যাদি। আমাদের দেশে যেখানে সেখানে প্লাস্টিকের বোতল এবং পলিথিন ফেলার কারনে পয়ঃ নিষ্কাশন ড্রেনগুলো আটকে যাচ্ছে। তাছাড়া পলিথিন মাটির সাথে মেশার কারনে মাটির উর্বরতা কমে যাচ্ছে। বর্তমানে নদী ও খাল-বিল ভরাট করে তৈরি করা হচ্ছে সুউচ্চ বিল্ডিং ও কলকারখানা, যা পরিবেশের ভারসাম্যকে বিনষ্ট করছে।
গাছ কাটা পরিবেশ দূষণের অন্যতম কারণ। অধিক গাছ কাটার ফলে অক্সিজেনের মাত্রা কমে যাচ্ছে এবং কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইডের পরিমাণ বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। সুতরাং পৃথিবীকে বসবাসের উপযোগী ও সুন্দর রাখতে গাছ কাটার পরিবর্তে আমাদের আরও বেশি করে গাছ লাগানো উচিত।
গাছ লাগানোর ব্যপারে সাধারণ জনগণকে সচেতন করার উদ্দেশ্যে অনেক সময় দেখা যায় বছরে একদিন বৃক্ষ রোপণ কর্মসূচি পালিত হয়ে থাকে। এটা খুবই ভাল উদ্যোগ, কিন্তু বছরে মাত্র একদিন গাছ লাগানো যথেষ্ট নয়। বরং আমাদের প্রত্যেকের উচিত যখনই সুযোগ পাওয়া যায় গাছ লাগানো। আমাদের পরিবেশকে দূষণের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করতে এটা আমাদের প্রত্যেকের দায়িত্ব।
আমাদের প্রতিদিনের বর্জ্য পদার্থগুলি যাতে নদী বা সমুদ্রে না ফেলা হয় সেটা নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। আমি মনে করি এ ব্যপারে আমাদের দেশের সরকারকে পদক্ষেপ নিতে হবে। সেই সাথে আমাদের নিজেদেরকে পরিবেশ রক্ষায় আরও সচেতন হতে হবে।
